Our story.
On a summer day, Lucas and Colin arrived at the central train station of Antwerp. They were both desperate for a tasty refreshment. Having a heart for sustainability, they refused to buy a pre-packaged drink. They did however, have a reusable bottle with them. That’s when it struck them, tasty drinks ànd reusable can’t be combined? That’s ridiculous.
With Mathijs and Lukas, they started tinkering about this problem. Not much later, the idea of a vending machine dispensing taste in your reusable bottle was born. With this idea, the Driplers wanted to provide this sustainable solution to everybody. The drinks had to be as cheap and have an even better experience than the existing alternatives. Only this way, a mass, ecological, flavour drinking movement would be triggered.
Our vision.
Imagine the future in ten years. The world has successfully made the transition to green energy. On every corner of the street you find charging points for your Model S. However, you still have to buy a soda in a plastic bottle? Erm, no.
In the future there is no place for single-use packaging. Neither for water, nor for other drinks. We believe that, by 2030, Dripl can prevent the use of single-use packaging caused by flavoured drinks.
